Trump ran the worst presidential personnel management operation in modern times. And he lied, repeatedly. He knew DC was a swamp. He told you in his campaign that DC was a swamp. And he told you he would drain it. He had no federal or political personnel experience thus his initial hires were disasters. Then he continued to hire more disasters. He never got ahead of the curve. “They” were and are not going to allow him a second term.
You can't drain something you don't know anything about. Like it or not he's done. You won't even recognize or “have” a country you want to live in in three years.
