Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray.
It looks very promising - like hand sanitizer for the nasal passages. It might well be another vital supply in a future outbreak, like hand sanitizer, masks and toilet paper were this time.
I plan to stockpile some, when it hits the market. Let me know if you see any for sale.

“Preliminary data suggests that inhaled NO could have a virus-killing effect on SARS-CoV-2 due to the genomic similarities between this virus and those that caused the SARS and MERS outbreaks. Studies during the SARS outbreak in 2004-05 demonstrated that NO was effective in killing that virus.”
As it says on the Mass General Hosp webpage with three studies of it that are about to finish.

Lots of other studies and even trials, most finishing up now after a year. IF it’s as good as it looks you won’t be able to miss news about it.

But we’ll see. At least we’ve the vaccines while treatments go through tests and trials.
