The data for harm from smoking is vastly stronger than the data for harm from the vaccine. And the vaccine has strong evidence it HELPS, currently helps people. Which is why 80% of people over 65 have already had the vaccine. The ones most vulnerable are the ones willing to take a chance on the vaccine.
Individual choice. I’ve got friends into their 90s who have taken the vaccine. If you were 85+, you might want it too. I’m in my low 60s. I’ve taken it, largely because I was vaccinated for so many things while in the military that I just don’t see much added risk.
If I was 25, I would NOT take it. And that is what freedom is all about.

Which Covid vaccine did you get? As of this morning, none existed. Are you talking about the experimental trials that they won’t know the long-term side effects for at least another year? If not there are plenty on us here that would love to hear about a vaccine developed and approved by the FDA for Covid.

Yes, and why is that? BECAUSE ENOUGH TIME PASSED TO AQUIRE THAT DATA. Too late though for for many who thought smoking was safe back in the day. So the main point is saying X number took the vaccine and are doing just fine so no problem is just pure ignorance.
You are overlooking the salient point. This is not like the vaccines you got in the Military. This is an experimental biological agent.
