Ukraine Warns Russia It Will 'Suffer' if Troops Cross Border

Ukraine warned Russia on Thursday that it will "suffer" if troops try to cross the border, further signaling a tense standoff between the two nations as Russia continues to amass the largest concentration of forces in the region in years.

"If Russia crosses the red line, then it will have to suffer," Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Thursday at a press conference with counterparts from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Bloomberg reported.

"I hope that diplomatic efforts, including this visit, will help us to prevent that from happening. And, eventually, will help us to restore territorial integrity." he said.

Kuleba's statements come as tensions between Russia and Ukraine have reached their highest levels since 2014, when Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimea peninsula and large-scale fighting broke out in the country's east. That war has already cost nearly 14,000 lives.

Yeah, I forgot how well that worked in WWII when the nazis invaded. It’s well known that Russians have no stomach for a few casualties, and will immediately fold. Suffering, misery, and hardship have been almost completely unknown there for centuries now.

Yep the Nazis figured that out when they tried to take out that Grain Elevator at Stalingrad.

And the Russian Army is about 10% of the size of the Fulda Gap era.
But there sure seems like a lot of money to be made by pretending that Putin is about to invade Europe.

Exactly. The Germans took photos of that dead Russian platoon, and put them right in the newspaper, and Stalingrad nearly folded. I’ve seen estimates that twenty or thirty more photos may have done it. It was a close run operation.
The battle was turned when the Russians unleashed their own superweapon... an Army paper with photos of Vasyli Zaitsev.
It all came down to the duel of the cameras.

People just don’t remember...

The classic was when they did the fake radio broadcast on Christmas, supposedly with troops in Stalingrad, it was actually recorded in a Berlin studio.

And then Radio Moscow played a clicking metronome the whole day, saying repeatedly, “Every Seven Seconds a German Soldier Dies in Stalingrad....Stalingrad - Mass Grave”

Ukraine hopelessly corrupt government will not be able to mount an effective defense if an invasion should occur. Their soldiers (most) are also not willing to die for this corrupt and ineffective government. They have no pride left.

What's not being said is...march 24 the..Pres.of Ukraine signed a Presidential Directive 'to pursue' a policy of taking Crimea back.... which the only way that could happen is militarily.....they've also invited Nato to fly it's warplanes near Russia's borders.......so with Obama's agenda and policy now operating in Washington no surprise Putin wouldn't further secure his borders in preparation for that possibility and perform military exercises on his side of the border...... He knows Obama is in charge.

Ukraine's also been building up military forces in Don-bass area with the idea of taking back that area. Additionally we have the same comments from NATO and other nation leaders drumbeat as before that Russia's going to invade.

Additionally Along with Biden back in power regarding Ukraine, who was the point-man for Obama in Ukraine....., you've got Victoria Newman, number three in the State Dept. and Jake Sullivan also there who were major operators in Ukraine under Obama who are all “Russia-gators”.......so with Obama leading the charge this is a repeat and continuation of the Obama agenda in Ukraine........”unfinished business” says it well....... Same people, same propaganda, all who were handing out cookies during Ukraine's Revolution.

This all sounds like creating circumstances which will bring Ukraine and the US closer together with Nato to make Ukraine a relevant country on the world stage again, picking up the path to Ukraine's acceptance into NATO...and it would cut off Russia from Europe indefinitely... Because Ukraine will never fully qualify as a member since it can never let lose of being a debtor state nor have a stable government on it's own. Even present history has proven this...... Ukraine is the ‘key’ both Russia and the USA knows it's significance long range.

.....”pretending that Putin is about to invade Europe”.....

We heard “Russia Russia” all through Trumps term and even in Obamas terms regarding Ukraine....and the same ‘Russia-gators” are now in charge leading that drumbeat again.

Obama and Biden are basically taking care of unfinished business they began. Ukraine’s Pres. appointed Selenski who is a war hawk as they knew Ukraine would once again be a battle ground and in order for Ukraine to continue to obtain US military and assistance Ukraine has no choice but to go along with what Biden wants.

Quite honestly I don’t think Biden/Obama give a rats butt how many Ukrainians would die in their push to take over Ukraine and finish what they started....anymore than they did before.

Lol, there is NO way Ukraine could militarily take Crimea away by force from Russia. Any such suggestion is a joke.

But Ukraine can do its best to drag the US into it, after all, the US interfered with the so-called Euro Maidan “protests”.

Are those BLM bongo drums? No wait, they are war drums.

I hope OUR troops are comfortable in the German garrisons. We have no business being anywhere near this.

“The way Britain warned Germany not to cross into Poland?”

More like the way Hitler was given the Sudetenland but was told the rest of Czechoslovakia was off limits. Wink wink.
