That and we have only have around 2500 military combat ready troops in the area and around 1000 civilians now. The NATO forces outnumber the US and are taking control of the overseeing of the country. This is consistent with the deal Trump made with the Taliban. Only difference is that Biden is moving back the total withdraw time till September. Not sure how the Taliban will interpret this. They can’t be trusted but Biden’s act changes that statement to both can’t be trusted. It may escalate.
