Great sense of humor. I met him in London at a formal event.
As we and about a dozen others were waiting to be escorted to the head table, he asked me: “Do you know why Bill Clinton wears underpants?” I was not expecting that question and answered “no.” He replied; “But of course, to keep his ankles warm!” He then broke out in an upper-class accented laugh. We got along great!!
RIP, Good Prince.
By accident of birth, he eventually took to the yolk and if anything, improved it. Prince Phillip was a man, imperfect. RIP.
