Sources Claim They Know Who Convinced the MLB Commissioner to Relocate the All-Star Game

In the wake of Major League Baseball relocating the All-Star game, almost everyone who was calling for such a move has been backtracking—including Joe Biden, and even Stacey Abrams, who was a major voice against the recently passed election law that Democrats have been making several false claims about.

But now, sources say that Stacey Abrams was the one who convinced MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to move the All-Star game out of Georgia.

The decision to relocate the All-Star game from Atlanta will cost Georgia over $100 million. Adding insult to injury, the game will now be played in Denver, which, as PJM’s Bryan Preston pointed out, is one of the whitest major cities in America with only 9 percent of its population being black. Atlanta is 52 percent black, meaning that MLB’s decision directly hurts black residents and black-owned businesses.

There is, however, a conflicting report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that claims Abrams actually “strongly” urged MLB to keep the game in Atlanta—but this is contradicted by her own actions prior to MLB’s decision.

A few observations:

I could see Stacy saying one thing in public before the decision, another in private in helping make the decision, and another after the decision. Black, female politicians can lie equally as well as white, male politicians.

$100 million seems high.

Since the game is played in Cobb county, I am not sure how many minority owned businesses are really effected

I read some of the comments to those tweets, and Abrams has a lot of backers. They insist she said only to speak out, and nothing about boycotting or moving. The funny thing is that these same people twist every word that Trump uttered and said he was Hitler. Total hypocrites.

With the All-Star game being played in Atlanta, it would have been a celebration of the life of Hank Aaron, who passed away earlier this year.

Major League Baseball really shot themselves in the foot by moving the game over politics from the home-team stadium where Aaron played his entire career after he passed away just a few months ago.

What are they going to do now, memorialize Hank Aaron from Denver while his home team fans stew over the political sleight?

And now we find out that it was none other than Stacy Abrams who cheated Aaron out of his posthumous tribute in front of his home fans?
