None of them recognize that. And when my 25 yo son tells me — “you know what has to happen, I know what has to happen, and everybody I know my age or yours knows what has to happen. But nobody wants to make the first move, because they know what will happen to THEM if they do it.” — you can only pray that some of them do recognize that. The only thing staying the hand of many right now is having a life filled with too much to lose.

Your son is right. I mean, obviously, I hope the political and judicial process will work. But even if it does, we still have a big problem: the Democratic Party, half the Republicans, and most of the business class operate as little more than criminal conspiracies to turn the government into a tyranny. If a Republican should win in 2024 (doubtful with vote fraud), he or she will still face a relentlessly hostile DOJ, FBI, intelligence agencies, a propaganda press corps, and perhaps even the military who will stoop to anything to sabotage or remove the new administration.

That won't stop until these people are arrested and jailed. Just doing that and insisting on the fair application of the law and the Constitution will itself look like 'extremism' or the imposition of a dictatorship to much of the opposition.

In other words, a restitution of Constitutional government is going to take the application of a great deal of force. The big question is whether it can be done within the legal system or extra-judicially. I hope for the former but expect the latter.
