Correct. Because the mRNA shots do not;
1. Confer immunity, or
2. Stop you from transmitting the disease, as you will still get infected as you are not immune.
All the mRNA shots do is lessen or ‘mask’ (pun intended) the covid-19 symptoms.
This is the reason they are telling the vaxxed they must still wear masks and social distance. Actually the vaxxed will be much more dangerous to be around than the unvaxxed, as the vaxxed will not realize they are infected and will go out in public and mingle among others. Getting vaxxed with an mRNA shot is actually the most selfish thing you can do; as you are taking something untested and unproven on the chance that you are saving yourself, at the expense of everyone else around you.
That is how I understand it, shameful that in one year the CDC cannot get their messaging consistent and clear.

The original Phase 3 trials determined that the mRNA vaccinations reduced symptomatic COVID-19 by 95% and serious COVID-19 by 100%. Those initial trials did not check to see if there was a reduction in ASYMPTOMATIC disease (i.e., a person gets infected but has no symptoms).
Since those initial Phase 3 trials there have been additional studies to determine if the mRNA vaccines also prevented ANY infection (both symptomatic and asymptomatIc). These studies have determined that the vaccines prevent 90% of infection compared to the unvaccinated. Of course, if you don’t get infected you can’t pass on infection to others.
