Affirmative Action pilots?
Yikes!
This simply affirms my determination to not ever fly anywhere ever again. I will not risk my life on an affirmative action piloted aircraft. Not going to happen.
Besides, the view is so much better with ground transportation. Yes, it takes longer to get some distance but, the views and experiences along the way are so much better.

HOLY HELL! Affirmative action when lives are on the line???
We have had white male pilots be as stupid to discuss their contests of flight attendants causing them of not deploy flaps and crashes a commercial airliner.
We have had white male pilots attempt to change a cockpit lightbulb and fly the plane Into the ground.
We have had white make pilots let their 6 year old kid fly a plane and that plane crashed and killed all on board.
Why not let women and people other qualified minorities fly?
They could do better.
Are the airlines admitting that they wouldn’t hire women and persons of color because they’re White Supremacists? Sure sounds like it.
Every woman and POC that tried to become a pilot in the last 50 years that didn’t make it should get together in a class action lawsuit claiming discrimination.
They are forcing men out of high paying jobs everywhere. They never mention industries or professions that are dominated by women like nursing and physician assistants but anywhere where men dominate must be purged.
This is already happening in South Africa. We are just 20 years behind them.

Are they making zure men have 50% of the educational teaching and administration spots?
Are they making sure men have 50% of the college spots?
Are they making sure women have 50% of the hazardous, high risk death jobs?

And here all along I was concerned about affirmative action doctors....... I will not fly Delta nor American any more. Add United to the list. I will seriously have to look at train schedules.
Anyone who doesn’t embrace unqualified doctors, pilots, or anyone else is hateful.
Who cares about quality of service anymore, it’s all about POC/whatever.
Let’s take a shot we don’t know too much about while we’re at it.

I’d rather the pilots be selected based on aptitude and skill, not some arbitrary demographic box they happen to check. Ah well, I don’t fly anymore. As long as they don’t crash on my head, good luck with that United. Hope you’ve got good lawyers, because you are definitely going to be sued as negligent and directly contributing when (not if,, when) one of your quota hires does something stupid.
Those airports will look like interesting parking lots for sure.
