Yup—you do not want to be a cop in a Democratic controlled city if the thugs don’t get the lynching they want.
There are some 800 cops in Portland or were last year. Since July some 115 have retired or resigned to work elsewhere.
The story in the newspaper which was subscriber-exclusive online included a picture of a billboard put up in Portland advertising 40 police officer jobs for the Spokane County Washington Sheriff’s Department.
Good.
This will upset many FReepers that have the opinion that all cops are bad.
The Stumptown Police Force has become a mere stump of its former self.
“WHEN STUPID HAPPENS”
The police departments need to remove the mayor’s protection detail. Let the mayor live with the consequences before the taxpayers have to.
