One problem for these big-name advertisers if that with the unreported inflation many of us are looking at generic brands of everything (and in most cases, the cheaper substitute is acceptable). There are a few exceptions, but basically the companies were already moving into the unaffordable zone for many normals.
I have no brand loyalty at all, buying the cheapest acceptable alternative while specifically avoiding some companies.

Yup. I sent the fool a letter, hand written and told him his decision to alienate about half the population of the USA is strong evidence of his not being suited for the job of running a major Corporation.
I also informed him my entire family will no longer purchase any Coca Cola products and they have lost a faithful customer of over 70 yrs because of what can only be described as the most monumental case of short sighted stupidity on record.
Rather than pout and grandstand these corporations should work with states and the federal government to provide IDs to all US Citizens and state citizens who do not have them. Then they could vote and fly.
