Let me guess. The WNBA is threatening to pull out a practice session a week from Tuesday night unless the bill is canned.
Here’s what I think transpired:
Faced with the potentially devastating effect if losing that practice session, the Arizona GOP called Kristi Noem for advice. She said, just give the WNBA what they want, kill the election bill, and tell the GOP base that you’re really with them on voting reform, and you’ll get to it before the 2030 election. And then trust me, she said, most of them will still support you guys, as long as you use a pretty face as your spokesman.
You had to really stretch to make that story about Noem. You are not a fan I take it.
