Michigan has shown an increase in cases since the last week of February. Daily death averages during that period have only rise from 16 per day average to 25 per day. As I said further up in the thread, there may be some transient increases in cases in some regions, but the overall effect will be muted and deaths will not significantly increase again.
No. Our positivity rates are very high. Our covid units are filling up rapidly. At one hospital they went from 16 covid pts to 51 in three days.
Yesterday we had 6000 new cases.
The deaths are not high because all of us elderly got vaccinated.
These cases are highest in the 10-19 age range.
Many 30-40 yr olds.
But we are national news.
