The 7-day moving average has been in the 900s for a week now, with it being in the upper 900s until just yesterday (dropped to 932). Hopefully that downward trend picks up steam again shortly and continues.
Looking at Israel is like looking into the future for us. Their COVID-19 new cases and COVID-19 deaths have been on a nonstop plummet. At the rate we’re vaccinating, we’ll be there in a couple months. For now, even if some areas experience some transient rising in new cases and deaths, I seriously doubt it’ll be anything to write home about. The most vulnerable are mostly vaccinated at this point. If some kids and young adults turn up positive but don’t have any serious symptoms or problems, that’s no big deal at all.
