That’s frustrating to hear, but I’m glad you both got the vaccine you wanted. Hopefully availability becomes less of an issue soon. It seems like the logistics of all this have created a massive bottleneck. If they just opened it up to everyone over 16/18 immediately, we’d see shots given go through the roof.
I keep looking at the amazing results Israel is having with their vaccination program and I’m jealous.
Yes the United States should have implemented some of what Israel did—in Israel, they just basically texted you when your time was up to come in and get your shot, and that’s that!
I think they prioritized the elderly a bit but that’s it. Everyone was in a “virtual line” for it from Day 1 (it’s like what Disney does with Fast Passes).
Sometimes, the “cure” is worse than the disease.
