Penicillin almost killed me twice before doc figured out what caused my near death. Son took Ceclor, antibiotic for years, all of a sudden one little Ceclor pill sent him to Emergency room where a team of doctors and nurses worked on him to save his life, for SIX hours. Other son had similar reaction to Amoxicillin, twice. Daughter had similar reaction to a pain pill doc gave her after knee surgery.

Sorry, nobody forced or scared my wife and I into getting both Moderna shots. And I don’t wear a mask anywhere except for when I go into a place that requests it. And I think I’m going to adopt the tactic already advocated and practiced by some FReepers. Specifically, have a mask with me when going into such businesses but not actually wear it unless personally asked to by an employee. Then, as soon as the employees leaves, take the mask off again. If a fellow customer asks me when o mask up? Ignore them.

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System records all reported side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines available in the U.S. (created by Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson).
Just over 205,000 adverse reactions have been reported in response to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, which is a small percentage of the 145 million doses that have been administered, between Dec. 14, 2020 and March 19.
If their info is correct there is a significant lag time between them receiving a report and them publishing it.

Operation Warp Speed gave Pfizer $1.95 Billion in funding to secure early doses should an EUA be granted. It financed the retooling of production facilities to make the vaccine.
Pfizer developed the first dose by itself. The other 100 million doses are thanks to President Trump.

My wife and I (as well as the 100 million other Americans who also have received a COVID-19 vaccine) were not guinea pigs. We actually volunteered to be “guinea pigs” in Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials but were not lucky enough to be among those selected.
Sometimes, the “cure” is worse than the disease.
I asked you this before, I am going to ask again.
Why do you care if someone else doesn’t want to inject poison into themselves or their children? Honestly, this weird anti-vaxxer name calling is getting creepier and creepier.
Sometimes it is. But not in this case.
It’s a vaccine to protect our increasingly germaphobe society against a virus with a hugely exaggerated number of cases and deaths.
I don’t care if you choose to get it or not. You do what you like with your own health. You have every right to make your own decisions.
However, when people choose to spread lies (like calling it “poison”, which is what Louis Farrakhan claims it is too by the way), I like to inject some reality back into things. Because I don’t think that trucking people with lies and causing them to panic with fear is supporting the right of an individual to make their own decisions.
I think those are evil tactics. And I always stand up to that sort of thing.
So make your own choice and be well, but don’t try to scare or trick people into changing their minds.
Any thought on why people are coming up positive up to a couple months after the 2nd dose? Implications of leaky vaccines isn’t a problem though is it?
If the vaccine is 95% effective, 1 in 20 can still become infected. Nearly 55 million Americans are now fully vaccinated. If 1 in 20 can still become infected, that's 2.75 million. But that's also 52.25 million who can't become infected. For reference, the smallpox vaccine is 95% effective. That vaccine wiped smallpox off the face of the Earth.
So yes, having a small number of people fully vaccinated who still become infected is normal, expected, and not a problem. Wasn't a problem with smallpox. Wasn't a problem with polio. You can wipe a disease out with a vaccine that has imperfect efficacy.
