The guy who eas trying to extort him is Pensacola attorney David McGee. McGee has been mentioned on FR before, in an article which named him as an attny, pro bono, for the family of late Iran hostage and retired FBI agent Robert Levinson, who disappeared in March 2007 after or during a visit to the Iranian island of Kish, a free trade zone which does not require a visa to visit. Attny David McGee apparently reprisented himself to the family as a friend of Levinson. McGee supposedly had previously worked at the DoJ.
Levinson allegedly met with a former US citizen Dawud Salahuddin [not his original name], a convert to Islam who had in 1980 or 81 assassinated in Washington DC an Iranian diplomat loyal to the Shah of Iran, after which Salahuddin fled the US to the Middle East and eventually was given a job working for Iran’s PressTV.
