What happened to “following the science?” Is a feeling of doom in any way scientific? She is a CDC director, but she is speaking in her capacity as a mother? What happened to the women’s movement? Isn’t this the type of emotionalism that women were criticized for in decades past? You would think that as a progressive woman she would avoid this type of hysterical statement and stick to the facts.
She must be menopausal.
That would account for the out-of-control emotions.
