A Los Angeles grandmother was stabbed to death along with her dog while out on a walk in broad daylight Thursday afternoon, and the alleged perpetrator was reportedly stopped from hurting others when another would-be victim chucked a rock at the suspect's face and knocked him out.
What are the details?
Jeanne Edgar, 66, was walking her dog near San Dimas Park at around 1:30 p.m., when a man who appeared to be in his 20s stabbed her and her pet to death.
"The suspect grabbed the female victim's dog by the leash and yanked it free of her grasp," authorities said, according to Fox News. "The suspect then stabbed the dog and then the female victim."
Reporter Bill Melugin of KTTV-TV tweeted, "This was one of the most horrific crime scenes we have ever seen at @FOXLA. Some lunatic w/ a knife savagely stabs to death a 66 year old woman & her dog in a random broad daylight attack in San Dimas. A bystander with a rock knocked him out before he could attack anyone else."
KCAL-TV reported that deputies learned that the suspect, Ricardo Saldivar, allegedly tried to attack a man in his 30s just prior to murdering Ms. Edgar — but the would-be victim returned to confront Saldivar and knocked the accused man out.

SAN DIMAS is not Los Angeles, not even close. 45 minute drive with no traffic, an hour most of the time.

What’s even worse is that whites keep on taking it without as much as a peep.
If this was happening to blacks, cities would be burning.
When will whites finally say enough is enough and start going postal? Sadly I see no sign of that happening any time soon.
C’mon man! You could stand on your roof in San Dimas and easily see the high rises in downtown LA.
I could drive most anyone from LAX to San Dimas and they wouldn’t know where one town stopped and another began. The only thing physically separating any of these towns from LA are imaginary lines on a map. It’s solid buildings and concrete for nearly 100 miles in every direction.

You folks are missing something-again. There will always be as much crime as people are willing to tolerate. There are no Rudy Guiliani’s out there now. Perhaps more men can walk around packin’ but how many want to deal with the consequences if getting involved? Hannity’s show had an advertisement that insured just those people if they had to use their weapons.

They don’t want to show the pics of the victim, the dog or their murderer. I understand the crime scene was horrific. Getting stabbed to death is not a pleasant way to go. And this happening while simply walking her dog, made it especially disturbing.

Well you are wrong on so many levels not sure where to start. How about just letting my original comment stand. San Dimas is not Los Angeles by any stretch.
I fingerprinted a kid (15, 16... I don’t know) who was covered in his own mothers blood. He got caught smoking weed in the basement, she threatened to tell the father. So he slit her throat. That was just another day.
