I used to drive, but don’t anymore. I made my drivers license in 1967 when my husband was in Vietnam. I passed the test, but had to come back again because at that time they didn’t take checks, only cash. My husband tried to teach me to drive in Germany with standard shift but couldn’t do it. (He called me an idiot, LOL. But when we brought me to the states on September 25, 1966 we bought a 1966 Chevrolet Impala Convertible that he had ordered in Germany.
