126 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through March 22, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 2,216 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.
“Reported deaths” are generally just 10% of the actual numbers.
So actually, it is not 12000 deaths, it is now 22,000 deaths out of 126 million doses.
I am sure it is just a co-incidence that these folks died soon after taking the jab. LOL!

I knew two. Another is on his way out and the wife of one of the guys who died had transient global amnesia. I know enough to not make my own determination of causality, but it does make you scratch your head.
