When alarm about potential side effects of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 shot halted vaccinations around Europe this month, many people worried this would damage public trust in the vaccine. In Italy, legal action has added to the turbulence.
On March 11, a prosecutor in the Sicilian city of Syracuse placed two doctors and a nurse under investigation for possible manslaughter, following the sudden death of a navy officer just hours after he had received the shot made by AstraZeneca PLC.
Prosecutor Gaetano Bono also ordered the nationwide seizure of tens of thousands of doses of the same batch of vaccine. He told Reuters it was a precautionary measure. But his move angered health practitioners, who said they saw no need for it.

in a just World, they would get Cumo.
This will have the result of stopping vaccinations in the whole country, doctors and nurses will refuse to give them if they’re open to prosecution.
Then they'll simply prosecute them for failing to give vaccinations.
They say this like it’s a bad thing but I guess you can’t have people not taking your experimental treatment.
“As I’ve mentioned before, both the FDA and OSHA have made it clear over the years that only respirators, not masks, are considered valid PPE to block transmission of a respiratory virus. Which is why mask manufacturers must continue to place a disclaimer on their labels that the product does not work for airborne viruses.”
And all you see is useless masks everywhere.
Ya think? And for whatever reason Italians are getting the brunt of the vaccine related deaths / side effects compared to the other EU nations. Bad batch?
Yep. I am getting my dose of normal today at the golf course. Hardly anyone wears masks..

Italy has been hammered by this whole pandemic thing from the get go.
They had the worst of it in deaths from the very beginning, too.
An interesting interview on the John Batchelor Show a few days ago pointed out the schizophrenia of the EU. They hate Astra-Zeneca and the UK, so they were going to punish the UK by not sending them the AZ vaccine and, at the same time, not vaccinate their own with the AZ vaccine. Meanwhile, Wuflu rates in the UK are dropping while rates in the EU are spiking.
The UK retaliated by saying they could stop shipments of material needed to make the vaccine in Belgium, which scared the EU, which is saying the vaccine is bad anyway.
Try and figure all that out!
What about the Italian Officer that died as a result of the vaccine? What’s his recourse for being forced to take an experimental vaccine to his detriment?
Where is there any evidence that he died as a result of the vaccine? That article offered no proof the vaccine had anything to do with his death. You’re going to shut down the vaccines of the entire country based upon the opinion of a prosecutor who isn’t a doctor? Stopping vaccinations could potentially cause the needless deaths of hundreds of people yet you’re OK with that? I also don’t see where he was “forced” to take the vaccine as you infer.
Having lived in Italy and seen their out of control legal system this doesn’t surprise me, it definitely has a banana republic aspect to it. A country with a functional legal system wouldn’t allow one grandstanding prosecutor to stop a critical public health initiative based upon his uninformed hunch. It’s bureaucracy run amuck and will cost lives in the long run.
They outlawed proven therapeutics like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. Why not halt an experimental vaccine causing deaths?
What death did it cause? You've offered no proof that the vaccine had anything to do with his death. You might as well claim space aliens caused it.
What’s the cause of “so called” Covid deaths? With Covid? Because of Covid? Or aliens?
