The people ALWAYS have a right to guns, regardless of the 2A, as the right to life is inalienable, and society today, access to guns is right to life.
Getting rid of the 2A, though, allows the government to "legally", in their feeble minds, usurp our right to life.
And the troops? (Who, I will note, were ordered to use deadly force.... which is a first, for decades, since Kent State.)
