Desantis and Hawley - Great guys.
Rand Paul - More good than bad, but not top tier.
Noem and Cruz - Both know how to self-implode, no thanks.

Trump called Cruz “terrific.”
If you say otherwise, you are dismissing what Donald Trump himself has said.

All other republicans need to rally around President Trump for 2024.
Then, may the best man or woman prevail come 2028, etc.

Forbes. Always remember, they are literally owned by China. It’s no longer the business magazine we all remember.

"...potential successors..."
My favorites are President Trump, Governor DeSantis, and Senator Paul. Have not given thought to VP choices.

Agree with you. I just want people to always know it’s Chinese when they see the “Forbes” name.

That’s ok, I spent most of this evening arguing with people who were, essentially, saying that Trump was full of crap for telling people to vote in the Georgia Runoffs. Now, those same people are about to lose their right to gun ownership, since they got what they wanted and gave the Democrats the Senate...and yet those people STILL think that Trump was full of crap.
So maybe it’s a trend?

Given his history, Cruz will do one, or both, of the following:
1. Stick his foot in his mouth and lose
2. Stick his foot in our butts
We can do better.

Even when I disagree with Rand Paul, I respect the man - he's got his principles and he stands by them. And I agree with him enough of the time to cast a vote for him if he wins the GOP nomination.
I think Ted Cruz would make a superb Supreme Court justice and a good POTUS. I'd vote for him if he won the GOP nomination.
I don't know enough about DeSantis. I saw that Noem just gutted her state's bill against transgender intrusion into women's sports, so she's already failed her first big test.

Ted Cruz would make a HORRIBLE POTUS!!
To: BobL
Noem just shot herself in the head politically with her veto of the girls/women’s sports sex pervert prevention bill. She caved completely to the CoC. Tucker told her that on his show, but of course she denied the obvious. Others have said she is a Bush League RINO. After this fluster cluck, am inclined to believe them.

"...Ted Cruz on the SCOTUS..."
That would be a much better role both for him and for our nation.
Prior to jumping wholeheartedly aboard the Trump Train years ago, my support was behind Ted Cruz.
I now realize his smarts are far better utilized elsewhere...like as a Supreme Court Justice.

Noem will sign the bill in an altered form. She’s throwing a bone.
Cruz will be a good Majority leader when the time comes.
Paul needs his ass kicked from time to time-no.
