Frankly, I'm furious.

Does look like she's calling her supporters idiots, doesn't it?

Does look like she’s calling her supporters idiots, doesn’t it?

But they are, aren’t they?

For months they believed anything and everything that Powell and Wood said. And when fellow FReepers said they should be careful, that some of the allegations didn’t make sense, they refused to listen. When claim after claim of ‘krakens’ and such were made, and that the big revelation would be made ‘tomorrow’ or ‘next week’ ...but never came ...her supporters continued to believe her.

When the stories became more and more fictionalized - the involvement of Hugo Chavez, shootouts in Germany between the CIA and Delta Force, etc - people believed all of that and soured against anyone willing to question the veracity of such stories.

When some people said that what she and Wood were saying about the Georgia runoffs would be damaging, her supporters circled wagons around her. She could do no wrong, she would unleash the kraken, and even when President Trump’s own team cut bait with her, her supporters still maintained their cheerleading songs.

I don’t post much so it’s easy to find those comments I made from November through to January, but I wrote a bit about her and Wood. About how I thought they were either conmen out to get a buck, or were plants by the Left - and in either case they were not supporting President Trump. But it was a waste of effort ...none of her supporters would listen. Even when it was obvious she was full of hot air and hadn’t delivered on any of her assertions.

So, when she now says that no reasonable person would/should have believed what she was saying, for the first time I have to agree with her. Because it’s the truth. It was all very obvious nonsense, and no reasonable person should have believed it blindly. For the first time, I support her statement and I do believe the judge should throw the case our. No reasonable person should have believed endless stories of krakens and such - and even if they did, after weeks of the kraken never being released they should have quickly been dissuaded and come to the realization that Powell (and Wood) were either crazy, conmen, or plants by the Left.

But that didn’t happen.

Because her supporters weren’t reasonable. They weren’t thinking. Either due to a need to believe anything (don’t get me started on Q, a bunch of good people deluded by what was the biggest propaganda campaign by the Left), or because they were idiots.

Maybe both.

But I do know that several FReepers who had been here for many years warned people to be careful about Wood and Powell. I know I did. Severally. Telling people that there was a very strong case President Trump could make about the election (eg how certain rules had been changed when they shouldn’t have) and that the focus should be on that rather than on ‘Krakens.’ That while it was ‘boring,’ there was a much higher chance of success than anything Gateway Pundit was publishing. All those posts are available on FR, which detailed many points on this. Responses to those posts are also available on FR, showing how the supporters of Wood/Powell/Q lashed out at them. Not even willing to consider anything to the contrary of what they believed. Not willing to be reasonable in any way.

Almost like, well, idiots.
