House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is facing growing opposition from within her party regarding efforts to overturn the results of an Iowa congressional election that a Republican won by just six votes.
“Losing a House election by six votes is painful for Democrats. But overturning it in the House would be even more painful for America. Just because a majority can, does not mean a majority should," Phillips said in a tweet.

The Democrats did it in the case of an Indiana race in the 1980s but that was when they had a comfortable majority and never expected to lose control of the House.
Only republicans have to give up on close elections, don’tcha know. Anyway, we know how this usually ends, with reluctant democrats just caving.

Maybe he’s thinking that this could be done for Presidential election since some Courts are now considering suits re legality of ballots received after election day, etc. Maybe Joe would have to get a moving van......
Great news... Of course, his district is a target for Republicans so he got to be reasonable...
GOP spewed lots of words over Indiana back then, but never responded appropriately. They’ve had plenty of cases of Dem’s stealing seats when GOP was allegedly in control and haven’t ever booted the thieves. BTW, the Indiana case isn’t the only such in history, but it was the first in decades.
