The Witch Hunt continues against Trump supporters.
Now, it’s the US Army targeting General Michael Flynn over the phony “emoluments” clause. The Washington Post reported:
The Defense Department’s internal watchdog has concluded a long-delayed investigation into Michael Flynn, defense officials said Friday, sending its findings to the Army in a case that could bring tens of thousands of dollars in financial penalties for President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser.

Flynn may be better off just packing up and leaving the country for a few years. This is too much.

I don’t know if he did, but Trump should have pardoned him for any crimes in a time period, not just for the fake perjury charge.

Attack an honorable man like Flynn on some trumped up charge but let a scoundrel like Shinseki skate with major kickback from the Army’s change to the black beret (first issues made in China) and his golden retirement parachute from the Stryker program.
Careful now, I was threatened for criticizing Shinseki for those exact things back in the day. Luckily I had recently recieved a NG-22 (guard version of the DD-214) so the threat was hollow.

Two questions:
What ‘emoluments’ did he accept and what was the value.
Did the General report those properly?
Certain items or things are exempt particularly those of a low value. Even then, if they are reported, then there is no cause for action.
Here’s an example, as a government employee I attend many contractor meetings. Technically speaking, a cup of coffee was an emolument. It was quite common for their to be a coffee can or such near the pot where you could drop in a couple of bucks for the coffee. We called it the ‘conscience’ can. IIRC, there cutoff was $10 before there being an issue. There were other exceptions. Another example. At trade shows, contractors often gave out ‘goodie bags’ with caps, pins, etc. A government employee was free to accept these as long as the bags were given to all attendees.
Belligerent Dems feel confident enough to pull this low-brow insulting crap because experience proves the GOP is too chickensh!t to retaliate in kind, and besides the corrupt establishment media will always cover for Leftist crybullies anyway.
Since Two-mask Joe, the senile usurper, stole the election and was illegally inaugurated we have entered the time of universal deceit where telling the truth is not only a revolutionary act, but is also rapidly metastasizing into a criminal offence.
Already, questioning the election’s altered procedures and crooked practices is grounds for arbitrary social ostracism. Several holier-than-thou Dem blowhards in Congress have been quick to publicly announce their litmus-test refusal to any bipartisan cooperation (even though they were currently cooperating on legislation or had worked together previously) with GOP colleagues who opposed Biden’s phony victory claims or voted in support of Trump’s accusations.
When the wind is howling in the trees, the storm is approaching. Stroke of the pen - letter of the law. Is this a great country, or what?
