I like the new show format better than I thought I would. The "Rush on a roll" segments are excellent, and Ken Matthews and the EIB staff do a decent job of picking Rush segments that apply to current events. Still, I want more details on those current events, and I want better quality analysis (and humor) than Ken Matthews provides. He's pretty good, but...

If there is to be a new, permanent host, I pick Mark Steyn, but I'm not at all sure he wants the job. Some of his comments made me think he believes the job would require too much work, whatever the salary.

Part of the reason Steyn is so effective is that he really studies the issues. A surprising number of hosts just bash the left and that doesn’t move the needle with anyone that needs convincing to move away from woke-culture socialism to free-market capitalism.
