Climate Warriors Silent on COVID Mask Pollution

Masks have been permanent staple of American life for the past year. Recommendations change like spring weather, from none to one to two or more, all based on flimsy evidence from the “follow the science” crowd.

Last March, the World Health Organization recommended no masks for individuals “unless they are sick with COVID or caring for someone who is sick.”

The esteemed Dr. Anthony Fauci agreed saying, “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask… And, often, there are unintended consequences.” How right he was, in an unintended way.

Last month, Dr. Fauci made the case for two masks. After all, if one is good, two or more must be better. Try that with your prescription medications and see how that works out.

Gov. Newsom wants his California subjects to wear two masks, hoping to suffocate voters ahead of his recall election. He describes states that are now ditching their mask diktats “absolutely reckless”. He did not apply that descriptor to himself after posting, “a video of himself inside a restaurant in an area of the state where indoor dining is still banned in response to the coronavirus pandemic.” Where he was wearing only one mask while he flouted his own rules.

The unintended consequences Dr. Fauci referred to included face touching as people fiddle with their masks, contaminating their faces and fingers, defeating the purpose of a face covering. There is another consequence receiving no attention, mask pollution.

Masks act as air filters rather than barriers. A barrier would be one of those space suits with a self-contained breathing apparatus worn by researchers in the most secure biolabs like the one at Fort Detrick.

They’ll simply pass laws making disposable masks illegal, and everyone will need to purchase cloth masks. They plastic bag mandates are moving across state legislatures with Maryland recently banning plastic bags. As the heart-wrenching pictures of dead turtles caught up in disposable masks start to make their way across social media platforms, the pols will have no choice but to mandate cloth masks only.

The pore size of cloth face coverings range from ~ 20-100 microns. The Covid virus is 200-1000x smaller than that, at 0.1 microns. Putting up a chain link fence will not keep out a mosquito. Even the most esteemed medical journals admit their purpose is to calm anxiety.

Just as the ACLU has been silent on all the violations of civil rights since COVID started.

And find me a parking lot without 3 or 4 used, dirty masks lying around on the ground, fluttering in the breeze like empty Fritos bags.

If this kung flu is so dangerous, where are the bio waste disposal boxes at every grocery store? Been to a hospital lately? They have at least 2 in every room. One for gloves and one for things that poke holes in you. Why don’t we see them everywhere the idiots demand masks? Instead people throw them in the parking lot. In addition to just being a nasty litterbug, you’re taking a huge chance of spreading it to others when you throw a mask on tbe ground.

I wish I had counted how many I’ve seen hanging from rear view mirrors. It’s insane how people think they can reuse a mask every day for 2 weeks and not actually cause it to infect them. (guilty as charged, but I knew it was like trying to stop mosquitoes with a chain link fence. I just wanted to keep the mask nazis off my case.) I also had a total of 4 to make it through the first month when none were on a store shelf anywhere. I got them because of the serious dust cloud I stir up while mowing after pneumonia damn near killed me almost 3 years ago.

It is much more important and effective to make sure you use those anti-bacterial wipes many stores provide on your hands AND the handle of your shopping cart. Grab one and do your hands when you leave the store too. I have two 40 packs in the car for those places that don’t already supply them. Dollar Tree carries them a buck each, wally world about a buck fitty.

Just be sensible. If you even think you might be sick, just maybe, see if someone young and healthy can get groceries for you. Even if a 24 year old niece does get it, chances are it will be no more than a minor flu. And she probably won’t even notice it.

Remember the Diamond Princess? Cruise ship. At sea, discovered the kung flu aboard. I didn’t see another word for over 2 months. There was a reason for that. If it had killed 28 people CNN would have made it their story of the month and had 19 analysts on screen (all democrats, of course) to tell you why.

Actually, only 17% of the passengers were affected, and half of them never even knew it. So around ~ 85% of the population should have nothing to worry about, the press KNEW THIS and kept up the fear mongering for a freakin year.

Insane.

Every Mask is made in China - even the 3M labeled Mask - all of the blue paper masks from China are imbedded with the Virus.

Was it ever about the environment? Or the virus? Or simply a power grab by the left?

Climate Warriors Silent on COVID Mask Pollution

When virtue signaling is involved, the woke crowd doesn’t care. It’s like wind turbines slaughtering birds. They don’t care. And the press isn’t going to mention it because it goes against the narrative.
