They figure that by the EOM Biden will have had enough therapy and injections that he may be able to hold his own for an hour or two.
My guess is they’re planning his farewell, by April 1.

He’s still reasonably OK at reading the teleprompters - as long as it’s a speech he has repeatedly practiced reading/delivering. NOTE: You can always tell when he’s reading the teleprompter because, while doing so, he transitions into his squint-eyed, Deliverance Banjo Boy character look to be able to read it.
He also periodically has “tells” when he is being fed an answer or direction via small earpiece. Those tells are a little more subtle than his plainly seen and obvious “reading-the-teleprompter” tell.

I always love when liberals tell me how great it is to have a president who genuinely cares about whatever he is talking about, went to any sane person it is clear as day he is staring directly at the Teleprompter unable to take his squinty eyes off of it for even a split second so he doesn’t lose his place. Like you said, he can kind of read a Teleprompter speech when it’s rehearsed. I recall reading an article during the campaign which went into lots of detail About how him and his speech writers spent hours and hours preparing for every little speech he gave.
In addition to the official press conferences Trump had, as I recall with his first week he had about an hour and 20 minute or so press conference, every time he traveled there was an impromptu press conference more often than not as he was boarding marine one or air force one.
