“the civil rights lawsuit that holds them responsible for the insurrection”

It wasn’t an insurrection or an erection like Chuck Schumer likes to think it was. Let’s use the correct words.

Five people were NOT killed in the Jan 6th riot. Only one was directly killed as a result of a police/security officer killing Ashley Babbit. Three other deaths at the time of the protests were due to health issues and perhaps the death of Office Sicknik will also turn out to be health related.

It was not an insurrection. Not “armed”, not “an attempt to overthrow the government”, did not harm politicians (no comment), and apparently had little organization to it (a few rightwing nuts did drive some of the action and they should go to jail, period).

How Clyburn has “standing” to file as part of a “civil suit” is beyond me. He would have to give up his congressional immunity in order to testify at any trial.

More desperation on the part of the Black and Democrat Marxist Left.

Gonna be interesting, esp. if Rep. Thompson (Homeland Security Committee) had any advanced knowledge of potential trouble (due to his committee chairmanship) and didn’t alert the Capitol Police, etc. about it. He makes “slime” seem like Chanel No. 5.

This guy is about 5 bottles short of a “6 pack”. Check out his photo in the dictionary under the word “dumb, dumber, dumbest”.
