This will get a minimal amount of coverage in the mainstream media. If Donald Trump were still in the White House, there would be wall to wall coverage about how these poor people died as a result of “Trump’s oppressive immigration policy.”

It’s pretty clear from the final vehicular positions and the geometry of the intersection that the SUV was crossing the intersection east-to-west at a good clip.

Try to separate the criminal disgust for an administration’s blatant criminal policies from the fact that 13 people died. Other than doing an illegal border crossing, I haven’t seen anything that indicates they weren’t just trying to put some food on the table for themselves and their family by working on our side of the fence.
