That was not within Pence's power. The PA legislature had to do that before the certified slate of electors got there. The Vice President presides over the counting of the Electoral Votes. He doesn't personally "certify" them.

Assigning fake powers and fake authority to the Vice President to create a bogus "betrayal" scenario is simply that - bogus. It's time for these lies to stop.
