I always wondered how long they could last if enough truck drivers just decided they wouldn't take any deliveries into the DC beltway zone.

Do you remember that mild snowstorm a couple of years back that shutdown just a small section of the PA Turnpike for just a couple of days?

Fortunately, our people opened our school gyms and other public buildings to shelter the kids on their way home from the pro-life march. And the press was forced to cover how civilized and hospitable we deplorables were until the traffic got moving again. It was fun seeing their little presstitutes scurrying around like rats trying to find a negative story about either the kids on the busses or us locals . . . with zero success.

We are so close to DC but such a different world.

I do recall when the truckers shut the place down I think was in the 70s.

I hate that place. The number of pompous tube steaks slithering about in their Armani suits makes one want to puke. Literally they think they are from a world far above the rest of us.
