Singapore and Indonesia have a good system. Will never be perfect, but their use rates are incredibly low.

Even despotisms like Iran and China have drug problems - how would we win a war on drugs while remaining the Land of the Free?

Singapore and Indonesia have a good system. Will never be perfect, but their use rates are incredibly low.

Even among depotisms, they appear to be the exception rather than the rule. And even supposing we could achieve their results by adopting all their methods, how is that consistent with our heritage of limited government and individual liberty?
