On a more serious note, it’s frightening how much of what’s going on today mirrors the early Third Reich. Mobs beating up opponents in the street, suppression of free speech, etc.
On January 6th we even had our own version of the Reichstag fire.

The Left has spent decades in the effort to recreate the Weimar Republic here in the US.
Yup. They'll eventually federalize all the stupid programs and the labor union pension funds. They'll use everyone's tax money.
Why don’t they just add repatriation with the reparations. If you want the money, you need to go back to the homeland your ancestors were taken from.

I lived in beautiful Evanston for years, just a block from the Lake Michigan beach. The kids went to grade school right across the street. I worked at home and had a lovely Black cleaning woman who came up from Chicago’s grim South Side four days a week. She also worked for a friend of mine. We begged her to move with her son to Evanston, which, at the time, had a very nice Black section, but she wouldn’t do it. I still think of Doris and wish her the best.
They began bussing the year after we left. It was all voluntary.
What in the world has gotten into these people? In a world gone mad, one would think that Evanston would still be sane.
To be picky, Dohrn was hired by the Law School, which is in Chicago (north downtown lakeshore next to the John Hancock bldg.).
Now compare the economic development of the Southland where the slaves were and the Industrialization of the North where slavery had been minimal and early outlawed. Slavery retarded development and prosperity in the South. Lack of it built the world's primary industrial engine in the North. So it is now northerners that demand that everyone pay more "reparations" and this time call it reparations. The War on Poverty was a huge Reparations that succeeded in ghettoizing the descendants of the slaves.
Or the Evanstonians expect the rest of the country to pay for it with taxpayer subsidies.
Can anyone explain to me how paying tens of thousands of dollars to blacks who were never slaves is going to fix anything?
Seems to me that will just make things worse. As intended!
