There was one that was going to strike South Georgia last year and end their penguin population. But sadly for the human-caused-warming hoaxers it disintegrated near the island.

Global warming is heating up the earth, thus providing the heat to Mt. Etna and it erupts (wholly sarcastic)
Of course, having looked at volcanic eruptions, I’ve concluded that those eruptions affect the weather and climate and not the reverse. Look at the decline in temps after major eruptions going back centuries, thus they make the globe cooler, not warmer.
At a larger measure, the climate of this planet has been changing for the last 4-5 billion years, thus it is not new and was happening before we 2 legged critters showed up. But power hungry politicians will never admit that.

I’m not familiar with this unit of measurement. How many Manhattans are in a Rhode Island? And what is it in square furlongs?

I’m not familiar with this unit of measurement. That's because you're not important.
See, important people have a good sense of the size of Manhattan. Well, at least the southern half.

It needs to be towed north to the Arctic to replace the melting icecap so polar bears have somewhere to get out of the water and rest.

Well....In Italy Feb. 16, Etna erupted, sending up high fountains of lava, which rolled down the mountain's eastern slope The volcano has belched out ash and lava stones that showered the southern side...The activity has been continuing since, in bursts more or less intense. There's no telling how long this round of will last, say volcanologists who work at the Etna Observatory.

I remember as a pre-teen, science shows called it calving. It meant that the glacier was growing. Gravity moves the ice as surely as it moves water, just at a different pace.
