Here’s something from Wikipedia on the N95 masks:

N95 and FFP masks were in short supply and high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. Production of N95 masks was limited due to constraints on the supply of nonwoven polypropylene fabric (which is used as the primary filter), as well as the cessation of exports from China.

China ... dedicated all its production for domestic use.

“China ... dedicated all its production for domestic use.”

It is their prerogative just as it would be ours if we had the production.

The decision of our government and corporate leaders to destroy the worlds greatest industrial infrastructure, one that took over 100 years to build, in the span of 2 1/2 decades has and will continue to have consequences.

The United States does not have the manufacturing infrastructure to fight World War II today, much less a 21st century war for survival. That should scare every American and have us all demanding action by Congress and our captains of industry.
