When Congressman Matt Gaetz spoke at CPAC Friday — proudly calling himself a “Florida man” — he went on a tear against Cheney to applause from the crowd.
Gaetz talked about “whip[ping] the establishment,” and then added, “Speaking of people who ought to lose primaries…”
“If Liz Cheney were on this stage today, she would get booed off of it!” Gaetz said.
As the crowd cheered, he continued,

145 voted to keep Liz Cheney in leadership in the House and conformed their commitment to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA), that’s 145 that need to be primaried.
I’d like to see a new party, I think it would fracture both major parties.
Liz is getting hammered at CPAC, and rightfully so. She should take the message and resign or switch parties. There’s obviously no place for her any longer in the Republican Party.
And now that Biden is bombing countries, she’d be right at home...
It was just reported yesterday that the GOP rep for Jacksonville, FL voted to keep Cheney. I heard him on local radio today and naturally the Cheney topic never came up. These Quislings are so protected that it will be impossible to primary large numbers of them. We’re better off building a genuine opposition party because the GOP has proven they never will be one.
I'm pretty sure at least a few of those 145 are having a come-to-Jesus moment watching CPAC.
They'll be thinking "I need to get with the program or get packing."
They'll be praying their secret vote for Cheney doesn't become public -- but they'll be some leaks on some of the worse ones...
Hey I’ve got one. Let’s just outlaw the legislative and judicial branches. Let’s suspend the Constitution and make Trump president for as many terms he likes, then install a divine right of kings to allow it to pass to Ivanka, Don Jr, Lara, Eric, Kimberley, Jared in that order. The Founders would love it. That Constitutional Conservatism is just great. Those FEMA camps could be for lib Dems and Antifer. Let’s put it to an FR vote. (I bet it would pass).

If MAGA cannot clean up the GOP, how are they supposed to take on the DNC, big media and big tech, culture, and the swamp?
The easiest path forward is to primary these clowns hard. The rest of the professional political class will get in line because they want to keep their position.
If we cannot do that, the idea that we will defeat even tougher opponents is frankly a joke.
For the record, I was pretty ticked off after the election and the lack of scrutiny over fraud and I too called for a MAGA party or Freedom Party or “insert your name here” led by Trump. However, after much thought, the truth of what I wrote above is obvious.
If we cannot defeat Mitch, Liz, and the rest of the republicrats how do we expect to beat the democrats and all their minions?
Answer: we won’t.
This has to start at the grass-roots level and I am very hopeful that Trump is going to talk about this at CPAC.
