Not a popular opinion, even around here. Conservatives live in a fantasy land where voting R fixes everything. I remember all the work we did for Dubya, and look how that turned out. I've left the feckless, traitorous GOP. Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together will, too.
Exposing is one thing, and I thank Trump for doing so. Actually doing something about it is an entirely different thing. As of Jan 20 this year, it's back to business as usual in DC. If anything, the corruption has tripled. Exposing the corruption did absolutely no good without further action.
No, I think you ought to run, so you can waltz in and do what President Trump failed to do in his 4 long years to get it done, that you are now critical of.
You are so right.
Feel better now?
I mean after all, he did say he was going to fix them, didn't he? Yet he failed, and you pointed out his failure in an extremely critical manner. So that signals to me that you believe you could have done the job of draining the swamp.
You can live in your fantasy land like the left, but you'd feel much better dealing with reality. I wasn't critical. Even pointed out I like Trump and WILL VOTE for him in 2024 if he runs. To say such ignorant things tells me you're unwilling to accept the reality of the situation and prefer to continue life in your peaceful republican fantasy land. The truth is the truth, no matter how ignorant you choose to be about it.
It simply doesn’t matter who wins the office under the current occupying governments in the US. We live under the rule of man, not a rule of law. A tyranny, and you cannot prove me wrong.
I understand the reality, in fact I understood that he would be unable to drain the swamp. For I knew it was much bigger than he realized it was. What I didn’t know is just how deep and wide the swamp actually is. It’s bigger than even I imagined it was. But had he had another 4 years I think he might just have made inroads into the problem. Probably wouldn’t have cured what ails our now totally corrupt government, but they would not have been able to operate so openly and with impunity.
Yep. Rule of law went out for milk and hasn’t come back.
Nor would I try. Matters not. This is the truth. This is the reality, regardless of what anyone says.
Thank you for the sensible response. I think a lot of the problem is we all see the issue the same. I agree that, had he had 4 more years, he COULD have been far more effective. Even then, however, I question the overall ability for any one man to stand against the system. I think we may differ in our approach to solutions, but we see the same picture.
Trump had marines. Marines have weapons. He could have gotten whatever he wanted.
“Just wait tll Durham finishes up. There will be hell to pay. /s
Ha! You know that will happen when Lindsey “gets to the bottom of it”. I assure you that will happen tomorrow. /s
