Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday night he would 'absolutely' back former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race if he was the nominee of the Republican Party.
McConnell, who Trump referred to earlier this month as an 'dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack,' was interviewed by Fox News Channel's Bret Baier, who asked the Kentucky Republican if he believed Trump would win the party's nomination in three years.
'There's no incumbent,' McConnell said. 'Should be a wide-open race and fun for you all to cover.'

Mitch is such a crapweasel. But at the end of the day, despite all his asinine posture recently, he didn’t get where he is without having at least some ability to see the way the wind is blowing, and pivot accordingly... unlike pure hacks such as Liz Cheney (who inherited her father’s affinity for quixotic, unwinnable wars).
He has guaranteed his plot will be urinated on continuously if he isn’t buried in Arlington or a private family cemetery. Even then, I can jump a fence.
I believe anything McConnell says about as much as I believe anything Lindsey Graham says, which is absolutely nothing.

They thought getting rid of President Trump would re-set politics back to what they wanted only to learn (especially with the going home of Rush Limbaugh), that we had been in school for a long, long conservative time and we emerged JUST as we did in the sixties ....

Cheney now knows grass roots will not be donating and supporting her
reelection. Her recent comments are angling for big donations from War
related companies.
