Glad I’m retired since this nonsense does not help race relations, it screws them up. Whatever happened to the Golden Rule?

Seriously, they’re trying to tweak it with “The Platinum Rule.”
“Treat others as you would like to be treated” (Golden Rule) is passe.
“Treat others as _they_ would like to be treated” (Platinum rule) is meant to at least supplement it.
For example, that means calling people by the genders they want to be called, not the gender they were born as.
