It doesn’t/didn’t matter what Trump “wanted”. The bottom line is we didn’t leave. His Sanctions kill/killed innocents. And he surrounded himself with global manifest destiny thugs.

Syria has a hostile govenrment. We have some power in Iraq, which is where Trump had them go. That may be the best option Trump could try, given the war-hungry traitors here.
