Why would you want to buy WWII LST’s. They’re not designed to carry today’s tanks and armored vehicles. Also they’re propulsion system is totally antiquated and most that still survive are 80 years old and likely not even close to being seaworthy.

How many LST’s from WWII could you buy for $100 million?You are correct. This is a horrible idea. Those LSTs were designed cheap and quick for a one time use. It worked. Shallow Draft, run like hell to the beach and drop the doors and out come tanks and marines.
