Michael Steele has been vocal in his reservations about Trump
This week, former chair of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele has made it clear that he would have no problem with vocal Trump supporters leaving the GOP altogether to organize an entirely new political party.
“You’ve got the national [Republican] leadership making their way down to Mar-a-Lago [Trump’s residence in Florida] to confer with Trump,” Steele pointed out Monday morning during a segment on MSNBC. The former GOP leader praised Republican Representatives Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois for taking a stand against the former president’s movement.

Steel hasn’t voted Republican in decades... he was probably lying about being conservative when he was given the RNC chair... NOTHING about him says conservative.
Jussie Smollett was attacked by two white guys wearing MAGA hats too - at 3 A.M on the SouthSide of Chicago in the heart of the black community... That’s as believeable as Michael Steel being a conservative.
You’d have to be a fool... and yet the bimbos and pretentious “men” of MSNBC believed. I think Michael Steel was one who ‘believed’ Smollett... doesn’t get more stupid than that.
He not only got more votes in those states than 2016, he got a larger percentage of the vote in all of them than in 2016. If he "lost" support - how did that happen?
He ran the RNC into the ground - left it in shambles and broke.
He also is a member of the now disgraced Lincoln Project.
Steele is not the entire Republican party. Far, far more Republicans subscribe to the Trump philosophy than to the Steele philosophy. Therefore, Steele is the minority in thought and deed.
If anyone should know where that exit door is, it should be Steele.
