Kathryn Limbaugh announced Monday that there will be a virtual memorial service for her late husband, conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh, in the coming weeks.
"We are in the initial stages of planning a celebration of life that will be able to be viewed by all of the audience and friends and extended family at some point in the near future. We don't have an exact date just yet, we're working on some of the logistics," she said, noting the virtual ceremony was due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I fully expect Trump to memorialize him live at CPAC, and libs will howl!!

The show will be gone within weeks I predict. Advertisers and statuon outlets will move on quickly.
What did Rush mean here? I was expecting Kathryn to give some information on Rush’s final days.

It meant it would take a miracle to steal 3rd base. He knew he was not foing to make it. Very rarely does anyone with stage 4 lung cancer lives. He was on borrowed time. We are lucky to have him as long as we did.RIP Rush!
Mark said today the Rush Limbaugh show and the EIB network is going nowhere
I appreciated that Mark and Kathryn took calls today. But there was way too much commentary from callers and not near folks asking questions that would have given Kathryn a lot more opportunity to share about Rush, about his and their final days and weeks together. From that standpoint, I was disappointed.

Very classy, very kind. I was struck how she told every caller “sorry for your loss”, as in we’re all grieving, not just her.
They will have Rush sound bites for 3 months so that whomever is in charge can decide who will take his place.
The bottom line and the continuance of EIB has nothing to do with EIB owners/staff but advertisers and affiliates.
The time slot will vanish in a very short period of time.
