I think Trump just got rickrolled by the Deep State. It’s like Ben Carson said he had no idea how deep that son-of-a-b**** really is. He thought he was on top of it, working outside of it, picking people who weren’t part of it, but it was Deep State sympathizers (if not out-and-out insiders) making the recommendations who he should pick, and they jammed him.
Look at SCOTUS. At Kavanaugh. All the shady links between him, Trump, and The Stiff Formerly Known As Vince Foster. You tell me Kavanaugh’s not a DS plant recommended to Trump strategically.

Yeah. So, The Steal and Trump’s decision not to take it to the necessary level... Regrettable. But I must say, there was undoubtedly a whole different perspective from Trump’s chair, and a ton of additional factors in play that we’re not privy to, and to have to navigate those mine-strewn seas and make that level of a decision — that is a cold and freaky place I would not ever want to be.
Armchair Quarterbackin’ is a luxurious sport. Being in the game, in that League, with the ball in your hands, 4th and hella long with time running out... it’s just not even in the same universe.
Taxpayers are pretty well protected from fishing expeditions in civil lawsuits, but there are big exceptions for grand juries and federal regulators.
