In a Muslim country, that has a population of Christians, Jews and others, you need a violent secular thug like Assad to keep the Muslims from murdering everybody else.
Non Muslims have been able to live in relative peace with Assad running the show.
Assad is a saint compared to NeoCons/NeoLibs running our nation.

You are dead wrong. Assad is one of the few leaders who drives around in his Honda Civic sans bodyguards or security because he is supported and loved by most Syrians.
We are the illegal invaders who have starved, stolen, financed terrorists, tried to destroy a cultural heritage.

Everyone is aware of the effects, and hardship Texas faced this week. Our sanctions, seizing fuel, blocking fuel oil shipments to Syria has put them in an ongoing hardship many winters.

I felt ashamed when I saw the prayers and fasting for “Our Brethren in Texas” from Syrian Christians this past week.

What I meant by that phrase was Assad is protected against countries like America, who have tried in vain to push him out of office. I agree with you, that we have acted as unwanted invaders.

Look at the weight of gas supposedly used by Assad and then by the Germans in WWI. The Germans used gas in a wet, low wind persistent environment. Assad supposedly used it in a windy desert town, the least persistent possible environment.
Somehow the Syrians achieved something like 40 times the casualty rate of the Germans per pound of gas. I guess we should all bow down to Syrian scientific and military prowess that far exceeds the Germans.
Bashar Assad was a tyrant. He ran the only Arab nation where a woman could marry or divorce who she chose, not have to wear a headrag, drive a car to Latakia beach, where she could dance to music on the beach, in a swimsuit while drinking wine made in Syria. After the party she could check into a hotel without male permission, and drive home to return to work or university as she chose.
A Syrian could freely be a Christian, any type of moslem, and even a Jew attending one of the last two Synagogues in Damascus. The elections were probably no worse than ours in reality.
Compare that to any other Arab nation and it’s obvious Assad was the most liberal minded of any Arab leader out there. And he practically embodies the enlightenment compared to the Saudi Government and monarch.
This was a Hillary, globalist, neocon project to overthrow Assad and install a sunni wahabbist government. To that end we created and supplied ISIS until they became too much of an embarrassment. They were supposed to overthrow Assad. We had to reign them in, now we are back to trying to make Assad Hitler and the Saudi King into Charlemagne.
The more christians in a nation, the more DC hates them.

A new study presented to the United Nations reveals the terrorist linked White Helmets group is admitting to staging fake chemical attacks in Syria.
One America’s Pearson Sharp reports at least 40 members of the terrorist linked White Helmets have admitted they staged fake chemical attacks to provoke retaliation against the Syrian government.
Members of the group who won an Oscar for their Netflix documentary came out in recent interviews for a study presented to the United Nations and confessed they had in fact faked the attacks according to Maxim Grigoris the director for the Foundation of the Study of Democracy.
The White Helmets provided a detailed description of the methods commonly used by their organization to fake the scenes. The admissions came after a thorough fact-finding mission carried out in Syria which uncovered numerous members of the terrorist affiliated group as well as dozens of other actors who took part in the fake attacks.
Gregoria have explained the participants were often innocent bystanders who were taken advantage of by the White Helmets.
Many were living in poverty and agreed to participate just to earn a few dollars to buy food for their families. A woman recounts how the White Helmets members gave her a white sheet to wrap around herself and says she was then told to lie motionless on the ground. She was even instructed to fill her mouth with toothpaste so she would appear to be choking on chemical weapons.
Another man says he was told to close his eyes and play dead while the White Helmets filmed him being taken to a hospital.
And in Douma, the site of last year’s chemical attack near Damascus, a White Helmets member says that local children were given candy as a reward for acting like they were sick on camera.
One American News went to Douma to investigate days after the attack apparently happened. After visiting the very hospital where the videos were filmed we could find no evidence of any attack and the doctors I spoke with told me no-one was treated for chemical injuries and not a single person died that day.
This latest report reveals serious holes in the official story from the or for their prohibition of chemical weapons which claimed the Syrian government is responsible for gassing its own civilians. Yet, the OPCW also admitted much of their evidence used in the report was given to them by members of the terrorist groups.
The report presented to the UN relied on 15 firsthand witnesses of the Douma attack as well as some 40 members of the White Helmets. More than 25 others were also interviewed who personally saw the White Helmets setting up the areas to create fake chemical attacks to use for propaganda.
In February of this year a reporter for the BBC also came out and confirmed after speaking with members of the White Helmets that without a doubt the hospital scenes filmed in Douma were staged.
This latest news comes amid fresh warnings from Russia that the White Helmets are once again preparing to launch another fake attack this time in Syria’s a bleb province.
As the Syrian army closes in on the last remaining terrorist fighters, reports are coming in a film crews recording the staged death of a family due to chemical weapons. But with the White Helmets now discredited as terrorist sympathizers it’s not clear how seriously any governments will take in the news from One American News

It’s been “disappeared”, but the video of a white helmet donning scuba gear to retrieve a drowned boy from a swimming pool was laughable..except for the child they most likely drowned for their promo video.
And the US has funded these bastards with millions of dollars.
