They wouldn’t like me at all. Safe gun storage is good, but I have no kids, nobody comes in I don’t open the door for, and how I store my guns - ready for use - is my business.
I sleep with a shotgun leaned up against the wall, not far away, and a 9mm within easy reach. Which one I would grab would depend on how much time I have. A .22 rifle has been leaned up just inside the back door for 30 years. Everybody knows it’s there, ready to go, and nobody has ever touched it but me and my sister. Pellet pistol, 30lb recurve bow and crossbow pistol all easily available and not a trigger lock in sight. All safeties are ON, and checked regularly.
And that’s a partial list. Everything cleaned and oiled twice a year if it needs it or not. Shotgun hasn’t been fired in 15 years. Still gets cleaned. It will be used soon though, I recently got a full choke barrel to replace the original modified one, need to pattern it and compare. (16 ga winchester model 1200) I think I’m gonna like it.
Liberals would absolutely wet their panties if they saw my place...I carry in the car too. Legally.
Don’t know much about this lady, I’m not in her state but she seems to have the right idea and backbone enough to stand up to the idiots, so she’s ok in my book.
Well, you had all those available until the great flood of 2020 right? Wink wink! When the grand-neighbors come over I move anything hazardous to a safe location. Otherwise, things are in orange. An unloaded guns is a hammer/door stop. And, I’ve had an accidental(irresponsible) discharge and known one that resulted in a death and been acquainted with far too many that have done themselves in with firearms. Has not changed my views in the least.
You learn to shoot by 8 or it's to late. I was born and raised in a time when you told kids not to do something, they didn't or else. Shot my first cottontail before I was 8 and every kid should know how to hunt.
What ever would they say today if Davy Crockett or Daniel Boone were to enter congress ......Wait maybe they did.
